To serve classic British cuisine reflecting the rich culinary heritage of the Brtian, to give guests at a genuine and unique dining experience. To create a cogent and vibrant environment that perfectly complements the creative twist on traditional British cuisine, the restaurant’s interior design concepts are inspired by the textures of onions and garlic.
The British cuisine has always been multicultural in ancient times influenced by the Romans and in medieval times the French. In the late 1980s, British cuisine started to look for a new direction. Calling on a rich (largely ignored) tradition, and utilizing many diverse and interesting ingredients, the basis was formed for what is now known as modern British food. Although some traditional dishes such as roast beef and Yorkshire, Cornish pasties, steak and kidney pie, bread and butter pudding, treacle tart, spotted dick, or fish and chips, remain popular, there has been a significant shift in eating habits in Britain.
